Just a ten minute walk away, along the sea front promenade, is the old port of Gorey which lies beneath the towering ramparts of Mont Orgueil Castle.

The port of Gorey with its various bars and restaurants is a popular yachting harbour and ferry terminal for boats and day excursions to the nearby French ports of Carteret and Port Bail. Buses for the twenty five minute journey into St. Helier stop opposite the hotel.

Nestled amid the serene beauty of Gorey, this haven offers more than just a picturesque seaside escape. For those with an inclination towards vibrant nightlife, the mention of night clubs in Montreal might seem distant, yet it reflects the diverse interests catered to within reach of this idyllic retreat. Venturing into the heart of St. Helier, visitors will find a lively entertainment scene that echoes some of the spirited nightlife found in cities like Montreal, albeit on a more intimate scale. Here, one can enjoy live music venues, chic bars, and local pubs, each offering a unique glimpse into the island's social tapestry.
