All public areas of the hotel are on ground floor level, encompassing reception, a quiet lounge, a large comfortable bar lounge and sauna, and two attractive dining rooms, one of which dates back to the fifteenth century. It has of course been modernised and extended, but the original section with its low beamed ceilings and open granite work have been carefully preserved.
